residential | ada bathroom | sherwin williams student design competition

jeff cobble’s bathroom was designed with ada guidelines as well as the nkba bathroom planning guidelines.

grab bars were installed at 33” aff and are the proper length for the locations used as per guidelines 14 & 23. the sink gives users in a wheelchair an easy forward access with an open front. with the sink and counter heights installed as per guidelines 4, 5 & 22. giving a user in a wheelchair the ability to reach. the shower heads and controls were installed according to guideline 10. all things installed and designed were designed using the guidelines in the nkba kitchen and bathroom booklet.

the space was also designed to be comfortable and usable for all those who use the space.

inspiration for the space came for natural elements and moab at night.
